|For my consideration.

"Psychology has long accepted the impossibility of free will in the human spirit. The proof in this is as simple as the clothes on our back. A quarter of you in this class are wearing blue jeans, its 95 degrees outside. Why do you do this? Because its cool, which is to say, you're wearing it because its what people wear. Psychology isn't the exploration of our minds use of free will as is commonly perceived, rather its the acceptance of our lack of free will and an exploration of the cage that we've made for ourselves." -Dr. Friedman PhD|
My psychology professor said this in class today. I am strongly considering changing my major to psychology with a minor in music. I was thinking about it before he said this, but man, that hit home. Also, there's this; its a 1 hour and 15 minutes class. Today, after an hour and five minutes, Professor Friedman said, "I'll explain this and let you guys go" and I thought to myself, "wait, theres still 10 minutes left in class!" No class has made me do that before, not Mrs. Ranslaben's english class, not Ms. Cashmen's history class, not Boyd's english class. None. I am really loving psychology. Oh and college is okay, too.
