yesterday and today i tried my hand at being a Leasing Agent. came to realize that i really wished i spoke another language, russian or american sign language, i really enjoy bridging that gap. i've been working with Yousef and Hawazin, and i find it to be overwhelmingy satisfying to not just do the work for them, but to explain reason and concepts that apply to the difficulties they deal with daily. i think that if there were some kind of school or calss in place to help people adapt to the American System, my talents would be utilized.
i wish i could really embrace the virtue of selfishness, but i know that i am all-too compassionate. i sincerely wish it were the other way around.
where has my self-interest gone to?

F**king, Austria

Yes, a town name that is a swear word. The correct way to actually pronounce the town name is "fooking," which was founded in the 6th century after a man whose name was Focko. This town has a serious sign-stealing problem, as you can imagine. I guess people just don’t believe it when you tell them, “I’ve been to F**king, Austria!”

Tyson said there are two main lessons to be learned from what the telescopes have found:

"This is a reminder that you are not alone in the universe. You are not isolated. You are not an island."

And "avoid black holes when you can."

Philadelphia (6-8) could've won by more, but Brian Westbrook broke free for a 24-yard run with a little more than two minutes left. Instead of sprinting into the end zone, he stopped at the 1. Dallas (12-2) was out of timeouts, so the Eagles were able to take a knee on three straight plays rather take any chances.

Philadelphia had lost three straight and was still smarting from a nationally televised blowout loss to Dallas six weeks ago. Revenge was sweet as the Eagles ended the Cowboys' seven-game winning streak and prevented them from tying the franchise record for wins in a season. They also kept alive their hopes of snagging a wild-card berth into the postseason.

Well, it's cold and it's quiet, and cobblestone cold in here
Fucking for fear of not wanting to fear again
Lonely is all we are
Lovely so far, but my heart's still a marble in her empty jelly jar
Someday suppose that my curious nervousness stills into prescience, clairvoyant consciousness
I will be calmer than cream, making maps out of your dreams
But will psychic ability kill the nativity or simply diminish the flinch?
Young liars, thank you for taking my hands and burying them deep in the world's wet womb
Where no one can heed their commands

"The young photographer glanced at Roark's face--and thought of something that had puzzled him for a long time: he had always wondered why the sensations one felt in dreams were so much more intense than anything one could experience in waking reality--why the horror was so total and the ecstasy so complete--and what was that extra quality which could never be recaptured afterward; the quality of what he felt when he walked down a path through tangled green leaves in a dream, in an air full of expectation, of causeless, utter rapture--and when he awakened he could not explain it, it had just been a path through some woods."

about 30 minutes ago there was a tragic accident on woodhaven road just outside my apartment window.
i was the first and only person to the scene for quite some time. returned with towels when an off-duty officer arrived.
the six persons in the vehicle were all my age, five males, one female.
after about two minutes after the accident, a second car collided head-on while going full-speed.
there was still one of the guys up near the car, which was on fire. he was hit and tossed roughly ten feet-- and over a three-foot cement gaurdrail.

i could do nothing to help him. he was a bloody, contourted heap. i hacve never felt SO MUCH at one time.

i just watched a young man die.

oh. my. heavens.
sirens, still. police scanners.
