I took some really excellent pictures down at Palafox Pier. The sky was
so perfect that day and the water just reflected its beauty. I was
surrounded by beauty in its most appealing form. It was amazing.
I was messing around with light distortion pictures and found these pretty interesting. I figure I'd post them.

ATTN: I have been reminiscing about books (digression from The O.C.. Go figure) and I have just thought about how much I would like to have any and all Madeleine L'Engle books. I forgot how much I appreciated her works as a younger reader. I would really like to have these books.. So, that being said, if anyone has anything by L'Engle, I would really love to have them. :)
And Cynthia Voigt would be pretty cool too.

I am seriously considering joining the Environmental Club. I saw how much work they are actually putting into the community, and the pond looks great since the last time I saw it.. like three years ago when I would ride my bike through it--- before it was completely separated from the frisbee area of the REC center. I think it's a really awesome idea to build a little ampitheater back there as well. I really do need to get a lot of community service hours and the only thing I really do to keep the environment healthy is recycle.. But hey, at least I do that! We put out like at least 5 lbs of recyclable goods each week. I pride myself in saying that... And we've been doing it for like my entire time in high school, ever since my sister forced us into doing it.
Anyhow, just thought I'd add that.
Got my car back.. Of course, they couldn't really figure out the problem. :( They did find the water leak and fix that though, so some excitement. I had my dad drive it while we were puttering around Pensacola, because I didn't really feel like getting worked up over it. It's still a little hesistant, but I guess I'll get over that in due time. It's just upsetting.. Urgh. But, at least there's hope of a decent trade in.
Ahhhh. I'm feeling really artistic these days. I think it's almost time to break out the sewing machine and sharpen my dull skills.
I just raked out the empty pool, helped my dad fix the riding lawnmower, am about to clean the hall bathroom, and get started on cleaning my bedroon. All this merits me $30 for TUBING EXTRAVAGANZA tomorrow. I'm so fucking excited. It's going to be a lot of fun and really relaxing.. but it also means I have to get up early and figure things out.. or stay up late and figure things out and then sleep on the river tomorrow.
Ahhh.. Next time I organize an "event" like this, I want a whole bunch more people to go.. Hopefully, not boys outnumbering girls like 8-4.

I'm going to write a book.
I FUCKING LOVE STEREOPHONICS.
They might be one of the few chill bands that I actually enjoy listening to.

There are some people that I could never talk to again and still be completely content with my life.

"Frances the Mute"
A. In thirteen seconds
B. Nineteen sank, while six would swim
C. Five would grow and one was dead
“It’s been thirteen seconds
Since you all last said
I’ve become the apparition
You predicted for my death
You said that flirting brings you
Closer to the end
You can bait into the water
But you’ll never get the hint
And like a stain of bricks goes
Dancing by your head
Plucked from an icebox
Grafted on my skin
My coat has hid the marks
Mink hits the shovel fix
Near the sway of pendulums
Boar abrasions and a kiss”
She said, “I’ll never let them hurt you
I’ll never let them in
What you took from me is mine
What is mine I’ll never give”
Mascara glass in the molar weeds
Herash,a serpent infancy
His eye patch pussed a gap of sand
Into his shine a sedative
More and more the dirt collects
You’ll never find her body now
Her closet festered in a secret air
Blonde underneath a blackened hair
He never knew the colony
Gestated in his bed
Mingle with the carnivores you’ve something both in common now
Till one day his wasted breath
Swollen throat and karma debt
Set foot inside a parlor, to find her drunken by receipts
He held her by the ankles
Gutted at the nave, yes gutted and depraves
He tied a rope around her legs
And let her hang for seven days
[Chorus] This never happened, but I saw you leave,
And crawl into a bed of broken windows
That is one of the most amazing things I've ever read.

Current Music: DRUNKSHIP OF LANTERNS - THE MARS VOLTA
A heavy shower of mock inspiration
dampens the hopes and ecstasy of
needy children’s dreams,
slithering in and out to prolong
the agony of shallow desperation
and to strike a strong chord of fear deep beneath their
soft and cosseted epidermis,
while vivacious, angry eyes stare stricken at meticulously
gruesome deeds of slaughter and reprisal.
A corrupt hand, keen to damage such fragile
tranquility if ever questioned of such vile conduct;
a dimming contusion on the soft purity that
affirms such an inquiry.
To take a hand to any of those innocent hearts
and initiate an autograph of hatred and contempt
upon such delicate skin strengthens the veiled agony
of which a gentle presence does not warrant.

I'm mad, because the infamous Mars Volta is opening for System of a Down on August 15th at the Pensacola Civic Center.
I never thought I'd get to see them live.
(I'm tearing up)
But, System of a Down has no right to be the headlining band. They're awful compared to Mars Volta.
But, we all do know that "everybody's going to the party have a real good time."
Mars Volta owns System of a Down anyday, at any given time.
And that's all I have to say about that.
I'm happy that they'll be here,
but unhappy that System of a Down is stealing the show.

over endless regrets
She'll never tell
the secrets she buries so deep within her.
There's more but it's on a sheet of paper in my car.
I love poems.

____ [check] BORING.
--------> now it's time to get off my fat (well, not so fat anymore), lazy ass and do something!
I promised myself I'd let the sun kiss me this weekend, but apparently that isn't happening. =/
I haven't updated in 3 days; HOLY SMOKES!
I cried for no reason yesterday.
My mind just went to a blank state and all I could think to do was cry & hold you close.
I love you so much.
I do, I do, I swear I do.

Current Music: we still kill the old way - lostprophets
They're baaaaaaaaaccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk. =/
soaring above our heads
Silent until they've come upon us
Soundwaves beating hard against
our ears and skin rippling with wonderment
Sitting in awe
Drinking in the abnormalities of the human kind
Watching shooting stars float flawlessly through the sky
from a deeper spot, farther away from the stars to make
watching them all the more lovely
I hate cramps.
But I like that poem & I just wrote it.
So, I'm like totally KTHXOMFG special.

I made an art journal.
It's for ME to put my artsy stuff into.
If you want to be added, let me know.
(Sarah, Jesse, and Zoee-- I already added you)
I did this because I didn't want to hog up my friends' friends pages with posts of many pictures, long poems, and other such works of art I might be inclined to post on my journal.
So, let me know if you want to be added.
